Time for Kindergarten!
If you plan to continue to homeschool for kindergarten, there are many free and low-cost options available.
- Our Free All-in-One Curriculum page lists complete curriculums that include every subject. While there are many to select from, Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool is a popular choice for Christian families, and Under the Home is an excellent option for those who prefer neutral curriculum.
- If you would like to choose each subject individually, rather than use a complete program, select a subject from the menu on our homepage. Each subject’s page lists numerous options (both secular and Christian) for every grade.
- For Christian curriculum, you may also find our Free Kindergarten Christian Homeschool Curriculum guide helpful. We have similar guides for 1st through 8th grades, too.
- The Reading Lesson: Teach Your Child to Read in 20 Easy Lessons is an effective and inexpensive book for teaching kindergarten reading and phonics. For more on this book, as well as other resources for reading instruction, see How I Taught My Child to Read: Simply and Affordably.
