Week 13: Free Review Activities

Welcome to Week 13 of Freedom Homeschooling’s Letter of the Week preschool curriculum!

Week 13: Review Activities

Week 13 of our Letter of the Week preschool curriculum focuses on review. This week reviews letters F through J and numbers five through nine.

Review Activities: Day 1

• Sing the alphabet song with your child.
• Review the letter F on Starfall. On each screen of this interactive activity, your child will need to click the letter F, wait for the animation to play, or complete the activity to get the green arrow to appear. Then, he/she will click the green arrow to go to the next screen.
• On the left side of workbook page 61, have your child trace and write the letter F. (Don’t do the right side of the worksheet yet.)
• Watch One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss.
• Have your child count the fish and trace the numbers on the right side of workbook page 61.
• Watch Five Little Speckled Frogs. Encourage your child to sing along.
• Optional: Do one of the Week 8 additional activities you didn’t get to, or repeat a favorite activity. The activities are near the bottom of Week 8’s page.

Review Activities: Day 2

• Review the letter G on Starfall. On each screen of this interactive activity, your child will need to click the letter G, wait for the animation to play, or complete the activity to get the green arrow to appear. Then, he/she will click the green arrow to go to the next screen.
• On the left side of workbook page 62, have your child trace and write the letter G. Then, on the right side of the worksheet, have him count the spots on the giraffe, trace the number 9, and color the giraffe.
• Read The Green Grass Grew All Around by William Jerome to your child. You will find the book listed under “2nd and 3rd Grade Books.” It’s a PDF download.
•  Watch Girls and Boys Come Out to Play and sing along.
• Optional: Do one of the Week 9 additional activities you didn’t get to, or repeat a favorite activity. The activities are near the bottom of Week 9’s page.

Review Activities: Day 3

• Review the letter H on Starfall. On each screen of this interactive activity, your child will need to click the letter H, wait for the animation to play, or complete the activity to get the green arrow to appear. Then, he/she will click the green arrow to go to the next screen.
• On the left side of workbook page 63, have your child trace and write the letter H. (Don’t do the right side of the worksheet yet.)
• Watch One Potato, Two Potatoes and sing along.
• On the right side of workbook page 63, have your child count the potatoes and trace the numbers.
• Watch Come Over to My House by Dr. Seuss.
• Optional: Do one of the Week 10 additional activities you didn’t get to, or repeat a favorite activity. The activities are near the bottom of Week 10’s page.

Review Activities: Day 4

• Review the letter I on Starfall. On each screen of this interactive activity, your child will need to click the letter I, wait for the animation to play, or complete the activity to get the green arrow to appear. Then, he/she will click the green arrow to go to the next screen.
• On workbook page 64, have your child trace and write the letter I and color the iguana.
• Watch The Itsy Bitsy Spider, sing along, and do the hand motions.
• Watch Inch by Inch by Leo Lionni.
• Optional: Do one of the Week 11 additional activities you didn’t get to, or repeat a favorite activity. The activities are near the bottom of Week 11’s page.

Review Activities: Day 5

• Review the letter J on Starfall. On each screen of this interactive activity, your child will need to click the letter J, wait for the animation to play, or complete the activity to get the green arrow to appear. Then, he/she will click the green arrow to go to the next screen.
• On workbook page 65, have your child trace and write the letter J and color the jellyfish.
• Watch Just a Little Bit by Ann Tompert.
• Watch John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt and sing along.
• Optional: Do one of the Week 12 additional activities you didn’t get to, or repeat a favorite activity. The activities are near the bottom of Week 12’s page.
