Week 25: Free Review Activities

Welcome to Week 25 of Freedom Homeschooling’s Letter of the Week preschool curriculum!

Week 25: Review Activities
Week 25 of our Letter of the Week preschool curriculum focuses on review. This week reviews letters P through T and numbers fifteen through nineteen.
Review Activities: Day 1
- Sing the alphabet song with your child.
- Review the letter P on Starfall. On each screen of this interactive activity, your child will need to click the letter P, wait for the animation to play, or complete the activity to get the green arrow to appear. Then, he/she will click the green arrow to go to the next screen.
- On the left side of workbook page 121, have your child trace and write the letter P. (Don’t do the right side yet.)
- Read The Story of the Three Little Pigs with drawings by L. Leslie Brooke to your child. Alternatively, if you prefer a version of the story where the wolf doesn’t come to a violent end, Starfall offers a modern retelling of The Three Little Pigs. You will find this PDF ebook listed under “2nd and 3rd Grade Books.”
- On the right side of workbook page 121, have your child trace the number 15 and count the circles in the ten frames.
- Listen to Pop Goes the Weasel and sing along.
- Optional: Do one of the Week 20 additional activities you didn’t get to, or repeat a favorite activity. The activities are near the bottom of Week 20’s page.
Review Activities: Day 2
- Review the letter Q on Starfall. On each screen of this interactive activity, your child will need to click the letter Q, wait for the animation to play, or complete the activity to get the green arrow to appear. Then, he/she will click the green arrow to go to the next screen.
- On the left side of workbook page 122, have your child trace and write the letter Q. (Don’t do the right side yet.)
- Watch Ms. Coralie read Q is for Quokka by Jean Claude.
- On the right side of workbook page 122, have your child trace the number 16 and count the circles in the ten frames.
- Watch As Quiet as a Mouse and sing along.
- Optional: Do one of the Week 21 additional activities you didn’t get to, or repeat a favorite activity. The activities are near the bottom of Week 21’s page.
Review Activities: Day 3
- Review the letter R on Starfall. On each screen of this interactive activity, your child will need to click the letter R, wait for the animation to play, or complete the activity to get the green arrow to appear. Then, he/she will click the green arrow to go to the next screen.
- On the left side of workbook page 123, have your child trace and write the letter R. (Don’t do the right side yet.)
- Watch Ms. Yes read Raindrops to Rainbow by John Micklos, Jr.
- On the right side of workbook page 123, have your child trace the number 17 and count the circles in the ten frames.
- Watch Row Row Your Boat and sing along.
- Optional: Do one of the Week 22 additional activities you didn’t get to, or repeat a favorite activity. The activities are near the bottom of Week 22’s page.
Review Activities: Day 4
- Review the letter S on Starfall. On each screen of this interactive activity, your child will need to click the letter S, wait for the animation to play, or complete the activity to get the green arrow to appear. Then, he/she will click the green arrow to go to the next screen.
- On the left side of workbook page 124, have your child trace and write the letter S. (Don’t do the right side yet.)
- Watch Lilia’s mom read What Makes the Seasons? By Megan Montague Cash.
- On the right side of workbook page 124, have your child trace the number 18 and count the circles in the ten frames.
- Watch Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and sing along.
- Optional: Do one of the Week 23 additional activities you didn’t get to, or repeat a favorite activity. The activities are near the bottom of Week 23’s page.

Review Activities: Day 5
- Review the letter T on Starfall. On each screen of this interactive activity, your child will need to click the letter T, wait for the animation to play, or complete the activity to get the green arrow to appear. Then, he/she will click the green arrow to go to the next screen.
- On the left side of workbook page 125, have your child trace and write the letter T. (Don’t do the right side yet.)
- Watch Mr. Klein read Freight Train by Donald Crews.
- On the right side of workbook page 125, have your child trace and write the number 19 and count the circles in the ten frames.
- Watch I’m a Little Teapot, sing along, and do the motions.
- Optional: Do one of the Week 24 additional activities you didn’t get to, or repeat a favorite activity. The activities are near the bottom of Week 24’s page.
