Submit a Free Resource
We’d love to hear about it!
If you have found or created a free homeschool curriculum or resource you would like us to include on Freedom Homeschooling, we would love to hear about it. Sharing new free resources with our readers is one of our favorite things to do!
Please read the below Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about what types of resources we link to and how to submit a resource for consideration. Then, complete the correct form at the bottom of the page to submit your resource.
FAQs About Submitting a Free Resource
1. Where does Freedom Homeschooling link to free homeschool resources?
On the curriculum pages accessed from our subjects menu, we only link to complete curriculum, courses, and textbooks. We do not include supplemental materials on these pages.
Our blog posts link to supplemental materials such as unit studies, lesson plans, novel studies, worksheets, printables, videos, and other educational resources.
2. What requirements does Freedom Homeschooling have for resources it links to?
All free resources we link to must be high-quality, free long-term, have no significant bugs or issues, allow homeschool use, and be appealing to homeschool parents.
For the safety of our visitors, we only link to websites that use HTTPS, have a valid SSL/TLS certificate, and pass our additional security checks.
3. What types of free resources does Freedom Homeschooling prioritize?
- Complete year-long or semester-long courses
- Online or downloadable textbooks for year-long or semester-long courses
- Comprehensive downloadable workbooks
- Comprehensive unit studies and novel/book studies
- Large collections of lessons, worksheets, ebooks, or videos
- Educational resources offering something different from the resources already listed on our site
In other words, the more comprehensive and/or unique a resource is, the more likely it is to be approved. Unfortunately, we do not often approve links to single worksheets or printables with only a few pages. When you see resources like that on our website, it is usually because we sought them out to fulfill a specific need in a unit study or lesson, rather than because they were submitted to our site.
4. Are there any resources Freedom Homeschooling will not consider?
Yes, there are some types of resources we will not consider. We never link to any of the following:
- We do not link to free trials, samples, or short-term offers. The resource must be free long-term.
- We do not include any resources designed only for classrooms/schools that don’t allow access to individual parents and homeschoolers.
- We do not link to any type of public school-sponsored virtual school or distance learning program.
- We do not link to any resource that encourages academic dishonesty/cheating or any other type of immoral or illegal behavior.
- We do not link to incomplete curriculum. Please wait until all parts of the curriculum are finished and ready for use before submitting the resource.
- We do not post links to roundup posts, listicles, directories, or resource guides. Instead, we only link directly to free curriculum and resources.
5. What is Freedom Homeschooling’s policy on linking to AI-generated content?
While we do not ban resources created with the assistance of AI, we strongly prefer human-created content and limit the number of AI resources we link to. We will not link to resources that are entirely AI-generated with little to no human input or editing. For us to consider a resource with AI components, it must be high quality and offer something unique and of value to our readers.
We do not link to AI-generated coloring sheets. We also will not consider AI-generated worksheet collections unless they offer something different from other worksheets currently available or they accompany human-created resources (such as lessons or videos).
6. Does Freedom Homeschooling charge for links?
No, we never accept payment or any other type of incentive for linking to free homeschool resources. We also do not participate in link exchanges.
