Virtual Field Trips

Virtual field trips allow children to visit places around the world without ever leaving their homes. Through virtual field trips, they can visit other states, countries across the globe, and even other planets. This allows children to experience places they wouldn’t get to see otherwise. Look at Zoo Tours also! The young man travels to different zoos and talks and shows footage about a section of the zoo that he has gone to. Very informative and educational!

Do we need to copy the link so that our parents can choose a field trip, or do we have to assign them individually
You can do it either way. Some teachers email the link to their students’ parents and others use something like Google Classroom to create assignments.
This can be so helpful right now and in the future for school children at home.
This is FANTASTIC! I posted it for my students to use during our school’s shutdown. What a great resource!

These tours have been so helpful during the COVID19 lockdown. I am using them in my zoom meetings with my students and they are really enjoying them. The Anne Frank House was by far the most fascinating tour as it sparked so many questions and feelings in my students. We are currently reading the “Diary of Anne Frank” and some of my students had no idea she was a real person. It was by far the best discussion we have had since this COVID19 nightmare started.
